What Type of Meditation Do You Use?

There are two types of meditations that are the focus of our mindfulness classes. These are the Max Meditation System ™, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

  • The Max Meditation System ™- This weekly meditation lasts for 1.5hrs.

    • Techniques used are deep breathing, body relaxation with passive, active, and guided meditation. It blends ancient methods from India and Tibet with the modern sciences of psychology and NLP into one comprehensive mediation.

  • Mindfulness-based stress reduction- This is a six-week meditation program that lasts for 1.5hrs.

    • The program uses insight meditation, which is the practice of continued close attention to sensations, and to see things as they really are.

Can Anyone Learn Meditation?
